Building Hope Together: $100,000 in Grants to Support Immigrant Services

Healdsburg Forever is proud to announce $100,000 in new community grants to expand access to vital immigration services in Northern Sonoma County.

Our second round of 2025 grants responds to emerging community needs and reflects our core belief that collaboration creates the most lasting impact. Three trusted local organizations—Corazón Healdsburg, Legal Aid of Sonoma County, and La Familia Sana—are joining forces to strengthen the network of support for immigrant families in our region.

Together, these partners will provide legal guidance, wellness workshops, and community education to help residents prepare for evolving federal immigration policies. Their shared goal is to ensure that immigrant families in Healdsburg, Geyserville, and surrounding areas have the resources and advocacy they need to build safe, stable, and hopeful futures.

Corazón Healdsburg will focus on the well-being and stability of immigrant families by offering culturally responsive wellness workshops, financial assistance for family preparedness, and proactive community outreach to connect residents with trusted legal services and support.

Legal Aid of Sonoma County will make it easier for families to get help with civil legal issues by placing a bilingual case worker at both Corazón Healdsburg and La Familia Sana. The case worker will rotate between partner sites on designated days each week and stay connected through shared data tracking, monthly coordination meetings, and direct communication with Legal Aid to keep referrals and case outcomes running smoothly. Having services available in these trusted community spaces means families can get in-person intake, follow-up support, and legal guidance in a comfortable and culturally familiar setting. This approach saves travel time, simplifies access to services, and connects families with legal advice, wellness support, and family preparedness resources, all in one place.

La Familia Sana will expand its community-based outreach in Geyserville through Puerta a Puerta (door-to-door) efforts and monthly Know Your Rights clinics. These programs will connect families to free attorney consultations, legal education, and personalized family preparedness planning.

Immigrant families in Northern Sonoma County face complex challenges that range from housing instability and language barriers to legal uncertainty. Healdsburg Forever is proud to support this collaboration which builds on deep community trust and decades of local experience, helping ensure that every family, regardless of immigration status, has access to the support they need to thrive.

At Healdsburg Forever, we believe that when local organizations come together to meet urgent needs, our entire community grows stronger and thrives.
