Our Impact
Since 2004, Healdsburg Forever has granted over $3.7 million to local organizations in Healdsburg and Geyserville.
With an endowment now at over $2.5 million, our annual earnings and community donations sustainably support urgent needs in both communities.
2026 Grantees
In 2026, Healdsburg Forever proudly awarded $400,000 to 14 nonprofits serving Healdsburg and Geyserville.
The funding was fully unrestricted and supported work in food security, health and human services, immigrant services, youth and early childhood education, arts and culture.
Arts & Culture

Heartizens provides inclusive, creative programming (art, theater, robotics, sewing, camps) that builds connection, confidence, and mental wellness for youth in northern Sonoma County. The grant from Healdsburg Forever will help expand access through teaching artists, materials, staffing, scholarships, and low-cost community programming, ensuring equitable participation.

Food Security

Farm to Fight Hunger works to meet the growing demand for culturally relevant food by expanding their operations to manage a working farm and support community gardens in Healdsburg. Their partnerships with other local organizations help provide fresh produce and sustainable food access to the community. With the our grant, F2FH aims to enhance volunteer and paid resources to continue growing and supporting their critical mission in addressing food insecurity.

Healdsburg Shared Food Pantry serves thousands in Healdsburg and Geyserville, with a notable increase in individuals seeking assistance. The pantry’s Sunday meal program, aimed at seniors, serves dozens weekly. With a focus on providing healthy food to vulnerable populations, including many who are latine individuals, the pantry’s work continues to grow to meet the community’s needs, especially as the demand for assistance rises year over year.

The Redwood Empire Food Bank plays a vital role in distributing food to multiple sites in Healdsburg and Geyserville, ensuring access for thousands in need. Their network provides backbone support for smaller nonprofits such as Farm to Fight Hunger and Farm to Pantry, providing logistical support and distribution through locations like Geyserville New Tech Academy and Healdsburg Elementary School. With their infrastructure, REFB ensures food reaches those in need across the community.
Health and Human Services

Alliance Medical Center provides critical health services to the community, including behavioral health support, which has become increasingly essential. Despite facing challenges in funding, they continue to offer valuable health education in local schools and expand behavioral health services, addressing a gap in resources. The center also supports referrals for mental health services, with many individuals requiring follow-up care that is not readily available.

Reach for Home supports individuals who are chronically homeless in Healdsburg, offering case management support and services that help people transition to stable housing. Their work was recognized through a county-wide homelessness prevention pilot, which will provide funding to help individuals and families at risk of eviction. Their goal is to achieve functional zero homelessness by 2026, housing 34 individuals per year, and their collaboration with other organizations strengthens their impact in the community.

The mission of Vamos North Bay is to empower entrepreneurs from unserved communities by providing resources, fostering business growth and creating accessible platforms for economic advancement and artistic expression. Healdsburg Forever’s grant will allow Vamos North Bay to expand a Spanish-language entrepreneurship workshop series in Healdsburg.

In collaboration with the Healdsburg Senior Center, When the Time Comes supports the launch of a community-based end-of-life program providing free, culturally responsive planning, navigation, and bereavement services for vulnerable seniors in Healdsburg. The funding from Healdsburg Forever will fund a Compassion Coordinator, bilingual doulas, and essential resources to remove barriers and guide individuals and families through all stages of end-of-life care.
Immigrant Services

Corazón Healdsburg will focus on the well-being and stability of immigrant families by offering culturally responsive wellness workshops, financial assistance for family preparedness, and proactive community outreach to connect residents with trusted legal services and support.

La Familia Sana will expand its community-based outreach in Geyserville through Puerta a Puerta (door-to-door) efforts and monthly Know Your Rights clinics. These programs will connect families to free attorney consultations, legal education, and personalized family preparedness planning.

Legal Aid of Sonoma County will make it easier for families to get help with civil legal issues by placing a bilingual case worker at Corazón Healdsburg and La Familia Sana. The case worker will rotate between the sites each week and stay connected through shared data tracking, monthly check-ins, and direct communication with Legal Aid to keep referrals moving smoothly. By offering services in trusted community spaces, families can receive in-person intake, follow-up support, and legal guidance in a familiar setting, reducing travel time and simplifying access to the resources they need.

Youth and Early Childhood Education

The Geyserville Educational Foundation provides critical social and emotional learning programs to students at Geyserville Elementary. With rising anxiety and stress, particularly from the effects of the pandemic and the pressures faced by a largely immigrant student body, GEF seeks to expand its support services. Our grant will allow them to contract additional hours of counseling, providing much-needed mental health support for students navigating these challenges.

The Healdsburg Education Foundation is focused on supporting mental health initiatives within the Healdsburg Unified School District. With increased mental health needs in the community, HEF collaborates with the district to fund and support full-time therapists, ensuring that students have access to critical emotional and mental well-being services. Their work plays an essential role in supporting the overall health and success of local students.
