Since 2004, Healdsburg Forever has granted over $2.9 million to local organizations in Healdsburg and Geyserville.
With an endowment now at $2.1 million, our annual earnings and community donations sustainably support urgent needs in both communities.
2024 Grantees
In 2024, Healdsburg Forever proudly awarded $400,000 to 12 nonprofits focusing on food security, health services, and youth education in Healdsburg and Geyserville.
Food Security

Distributing food to those in need in Healdsburg and Geyserville. Food costs have soared. Our grant is used to provide food to over 2,000 people in Healdsburg and Geyserville, including the 40-50 seniors served each Sunday.

REFB is a reliable and strong partner working to meet food security needs. Our grant supports operations across multiple distribution points to provide meals to hungry members of the Healdsburg and Geyserville communities.
Health & Human Services

Alliance Medical serves those with limited access to healthcare through other means due to lack of insurance or documentation. Our grant supports operations.

Reach for Home has been a critical organization in meeting the needs of the shelterless. With the 2023 implementation of their Interim Housing Project, our grant supports the expanded needs for staff, mental health professionals, and operating expenses.

The Boys & Girls Clubs provide a double benefit: helping youth participants and their working parents. To ensure access to after-school programming for local lower-income families, our grant provides partial and full scholarships and supports operational costs.

Our grant helps cover operational costs to manage the working farm and support multiple community gardens in Healdsburg. It also supports the construction of a greenhouse to ensure young plants are protected from the ever-changing climate.

Corazón helps hundreds of families and individuals with individualized case management and wraparound services, including direct financial assistance to keep community members out of financial crises. Our grant supports their programs and operational costs.

UndocuFund provides critical services, including direct financial assistance, to undocumented individuals and families living in Healdsburg and Geyserville. Our grant supports their assistance programs and operational costs.
Youth & Education

Childcare capacity in the community remains well below the level of demand, especially for lower-income and Latinx working parents. The 2023 Healdsburg Forever grant funds Healdsburg Community Nursery School, providing affordable childcare and extended hours until 5 p.m., to support lower-income and Latinx working parents.

Our grant funds staff to support Farm to Pantry’s expanded programs as well as technology improvements needed for efficient and effective coordination systems are essential.

La Familia Sana provides mental health services to underserved residents of Geyserville. They also offer free adult English classes and childcare at Geyserville Elementary School. The Healdsburg Forever 2023 grant provides essential support for these services.

Mental health needs of school-age children increased significantly during and after the wildfires and the pandemic. The Healdsburg Forever 2023 grant funds the continuation of two full-time therapists in the school district. It also supports placing students who are newcomers to the U.S. in regular classrooms with translators.
